The list continues: Dhrishtaketu, Chekitana, the valiant king of Kashi, Purujit and Kuntibhoja, and Shaibya, the best of men.
Dhrishtaketu is the king of Chedi, son of Shishupala. Chekitana is a warrior of the Vrishni clan. Kuntibhoja is the king who adopted Kunti, the Pandavas' mother, and Purujit is his brother, so both are family elders to the Pandavas. Shaibya, king of the Shibis, was related to Yudhishthira by marriage. The names show that the Pandava side is a wide alliance of kings bound by kinship and loyalty.
