Meaning in English
The Blessed Lord said: Arjuna, where has this weakness come from at such a critical moment? It does not suit a noble person, it does not lead to heaven, and it brings disgrace.

Explanation
The Lord said: Where has this dejection come upon you from, in this hour of crisis, O Arjuna? It is unworthy of a noble person; it leads neither to heaven nor to honour.
Krishna's first words are a jolt, not comfort. He names Arjuna's state as kashmala — a stain or confusion — and calls him back to who he really is.
