Explanation

In this way many kinds of sacrifice are set forth in the mouth of Brahman. Know them all to be born of action. Knowing this truth about them, Krishna tells Arjuna, you will be set free from the bondage that action otherwise brings.

Shankara reads brahmaṇo mukhe as in the Veda, meaning these sacrifices are taught by scripture; others take it as in the mouth of Brahman, the sacred fire into which offerings go. Shankara explains born of action as arising from the activity of body, speech and mind, which do not belong to the Self; knowing that the Self is not their doer brings freedom. Ramanuja takes born of action to mean that all these sacrifices depend on daily duties performed rightly.
