Explanation

Arjuna said: seeing this gentle human form of yours, O Janardana, I am now composed in mind and restored to my natural state. Arjuna's fear subsides as he looks again upon his friend. The friend he knew has returned, and with him Arjuna's peace of mind.

The word 'manusham', human, shows that Krishna has returned to the form in which he lived among men. Arjuna recovers his presence of mind (sacetah) and his normal self (prakriti). Commentators note the relief in these words: the infinite is wonderful, but the human form of the Divine is what allows relationship, conversation and love. This verse closes the vision and returns the dialogue to the battlefield, where the teaching will continue in the following chapters.
