Explanation

I will declare to you in full this knowledge together with realisation, knowing which nothing else remains to be known here. Krishna promises both understanding and its lived experience, a complete teaching that leaves no gap. It is the kind of knowing that satisfies the search.

The pair jñāna and vijñāna recurs in the Gita (6.8, 9.1, 18.42). Shankara takes jñāna as knowledge from scripture and vijñāna as direct personal experience of it. Ramanuja reads jñāna as knowledge of the Lord's essential nature and vijñāna as knowledge of his distinguishing glories. The claim that nothing else remains to be known echoes the Upanishadic idea of the one thing by knowing which all is known, as in the Chandogya and Mundaka Upanishads.
