Explanation

Behold the Adityas, the Vasus, the Rudras, the two Ashvins and the Maruts; behold, O Bharata, many wonders never seen before. Krishna names the great Vedic groups of deities, all present within his form. All the powers worshipped in the Vedic hymns are shown as parts of him.

The Adityas (twelve solar deities), Vasus (eight elemental gods), Rudras (eleven storm-forms), the twin Ashvins (healers) and the Maruts (wind-gods) were the familiar gods of Vedic worship. By showing them all within himself, Krishna presents himself as the ground of every deity, echoing his words in chapter 10. Commentators add that 'never seen before' means not seen by any human, preparing for the claim in 11.47 that no one but Arjuna has seen this form.

भावार्थ
