What the address covered

Per Shri Guruji Samagra, the Shastrapujan address condemned 'peace at any price': the transfer of Berubari, the creation of Nagaland and feared concessions on Kashmir. It called Pakistan's creation the first step of an invasion and said China had entered India despite Panchsheel. In the Vijayadashami address Golwalkar blamed Muslims for attacks on Hindu processions at Firozabad and Yeola and accused the government of partiality. He criticised Congress leaders' dealings with the Muslim League, called the Indus Waters Treaty a defeat and alleged a plot behind the Assam disturbances. He also asserted that riots are always started by Muslims, a sweeping claim.

Context

Indus Waters Treaty and Berubari criticised; communal riot claims.
