What the address covered

This address came days after the September 1965 ceasefire with Pakistan. Per Shri Guruji Samagra, Golwalkar called the 1947 partition India's greatest defeat. He praised the government's new firmness and the army's sacrifices, contrasting the war with the humiliation of 1962. He regretted that the advance towards Lahore and Sialkot was halted under UN pressure and said the wish to see India reunited was just. He also argued that Pakistan's hostility would end only with its end, and noted China's threats during the war. The address included disparaging remarks about the ancestors of Indian Muslims.
