What Daily Routine Mantras — Morning to Night means
A Hindu day is woven with short prayers that turn ordinary moments into remembrance: looking at the palms on waking, asking the Earth's pardon before stepping on her, calling the holy rivers into the bath water, offering water to the rising Sun, bowing at the tulsi and the peepal, honouring the cow, offering food to God before eating, greeting the evening lamp, and asking forgiveness for the day's faults before sleep.
Each prayer takes only a few seconds, but together they keep the mind turned towards the divine — and towards gratitude for the earth, water, sun, plants, animals and food that sustain us.
