    मुदाकरात्तमोदकं सदा विमुक्तिसाधकं
    कलाधरावतंसकं विलासिलोकरक्षकम् ।
    अनायकैकनायकं विनाशितेभदैत्यकं
    नताशुभाशुनाशकं नमामि तं विनायकम् ॥

    mudākarāttamodakaṃ sadā vimuktisādhakaṃ
    kalādharāvataṃsakaṃ vilāsilokarakṣakam |
    anāyakaikanāyakaṃ vināśitebhadaityakaṃ
    natāśubhāśunāśakaṃ namāmi taṃ vināyakam ||

    जो प्रसन्नता से हाथ में मोदक लिए हैं, सदा मुक्ति देने वाले हैं, चन्द्रकला को आभूषण की तरह धारण करते हैं, लीलामय जगत् के रक्षक हैं; जिनका कोई नायक नहीं उनके एकमात्र नायक, गजासुर का नाश करने वाले, प्रणाम करने वालों के अशुभ को शीघ्र नष्ट करने वाले — उन विनायक को मैं नमस्कार करता हूँ।

    Who joyfully holds a modaka in his hand, who always grants liberation, who wears the crescent moon as an ornament, protector of the world at play; the one leader of those who have no leader, slayer of the elephant-demon, who swiftly destroys the misfortunes of those who bow to him — I bow to that Vinayaka.

    नतेतरातिभीकरं नवोदितार्कभास्वरं
    नमत्सुरारिनिर्जरं नताधिकापदुद्धरम् ।
    सुरेश्वरं निधीश्वरं गजेश्वरं गणेश्वरं
    महेश्वरं तमाश्रये परात्परं निरन्तरम् ॥

    natetarātibhīkaraṃ navoditārkabhāsvaraṃ
    namatsurārinirjaraṃ natādhikāpaduddharam |
    sureśvaraṃ nidhīśvaraṃ gajeśvaraṃ gaṇeśvaraṃ
    maheśvaraṃ tamāśraye parātparaṃ nirantaram ||

    जो नमन न करने वालों के लिए भयंकर हैं, नए उगे सूर्य के समान तेजस्वी हैं, देवता और असुर जिन्हें प्रणाम करते हैं, जो भक्तों को बड़ी-बड़ी विपत्तियों से उबारते हैं; सुरेश्वर, निधीश्वर, गजेश्वर, गणेश्वर, महेश्वर, परात्पर — उनकी मैं निरन्तर शरण लेता हूँ।

    Terrifying to those who do not bow, radiant as the newly risen sun, to whom both gods and demons bow, who lifts his devotees out of the greatest calamities; lord of the gods, lord of treasures, lord of elephants, lord of the ganas, the great lord, higher than the highest — in him I always take refuge.

    समस्तलोकशङ्करं निरस्तदैत्यकुञ्जरं
    दरेतरोदरं वरं वरेभवक्त्रमक्षरम् ।
    कृपाकरं क्षमाकरं मुदाकरं यशस्करं
    मनस्करं नमस्कृतां नमस्करोमि भास्वरम् ॥

    samastalokaśaṅkaraṃ nirastadaityakuñjaraṃ
    daretarodaraṃ varaṃ varebhavaktramakṣaram |
    kṛpākaraṃ kṣamākaraṃ mudākaraṃ yaśaskaraṃ
    manaskaraṃ namaskṛtāṃ namaskaromi bhāsvaram ||

    जो सब लोकों का कल्याण करते हैं, जिन्होंने गजासुर को परास्त किया, जिनका उदर विशाल है, जो श्रेष्ठ हैं, जिनका मुख उत्तम हाथी का है, जो अविनाशी हैं; कृपा, क्षमा, आनन्द और यश के दाता, नमन करने वालों को सद्बुद्धि देने वाले — उन तेजस्वी को मैं नमस्कार करता हूँ।

    Who brings good to all the worlds, who drove away the elephant-demon, whose belly is large, the excellent one with the face of a noble elephant, the imperishable; the source of compassion, forgiveness, joy and fame, who grants wisdom to those who bow — I bow to that radiant one.

    अकिञ्चनार्तिमार्जनं चिरन्तनोक्तिभाजनं
    पुरारिपूर्वनन्दनं सुरारिगर्वचर्वणम् ।
    प्रपञ्चनाशभीषणं धनञ्जयादिभूषणं

    akiñcanārtimārjanaṃ cirantanoktibhājanaṃ

    prapañcanāśabhīṣaṇaṃ dhanañjayādibhūṣaṇaṃ
    kapoladānavāraṇaṃ bhaje purāṇavāraṇam ||

    जो निर्धनों के दुःख दूर करते हैं, प्राचीन वाणी (वेदों) में जिनकी स्तुति है, जो त्रिपुरारि शिव के ज्येष्ठ पुत्र हैं, असुरों का घमण्ड चूर करते हैं; प्रलय के समय भयंकर, धनञ्जय आदि नागों से विभूषित, जिनके कपोलों से मद बहता है — उन पुरातन गजराज को मैं भजता हूँ।

    Who wipes away the sorrows of the poor, who is praised in the ancient scriptures, the eldest son of Shiva (enemy of the Tripuras), who crushes the pride of the demons; fearsome at the dissolution of the world, adorned with serpents like Dhananjaya, the elephant whose cheeks flow with ichor — I worship that ancient elephant.

    नितान्तकान्तदन्तकान्तिमन्तकान्तकात्मजं
    अचिन्त्यरूपमन्तहीनमन्तरायकृन्तनम् ।
    हृदन्तरे निरन्तरं वसन्तमेव योगिनां

    nitāntakāntadantakāntimantakāntakātmajaṃ
    acintyarūpamantahīnamantarāyakṛntanam |
    hṛdantare nirantaraṃ vasantameva yogināṃ
    tamekadantameva taṃ vicintayāmi santatam ||

    जिनके दाँत की कान्ति अत्यन्त सुन्दर है, जो यमराज का अन्त करने वाले शिव के पुत्र हैं; जिनका रूप अचिन्त्य है, जो अनन्त हैं, विघ्नों को काटने वाले हैं; जो योगियों के हृदय में निरन्तर निवास करते हैं — उन एकदन्त का ही मैं सदा चिन्तन करता हूँ।

    The son of Shiva, slayer of Death, whose tusk shines with exceeding beauty; whose form is beyond thought, who is endless, who cuts through all obstacles; who dwells forever in the hearts of yogis — on him alone, the one-tusked, I meditate always.

What Ganesha Pancharatnam means

Pancharatnam means "five jewels" — five verses of praise, followed by a verse on the fruit of reciting.
